I have been trying to add some more photos to show the rainbow colors inside the cake but having some trouble even though they are under the size limit. Will try again later

Most children would think it great they were allowed to do that - is this something you thought up dede or is it a common occurrence?  Did he completely demolish it?  Certainly looks like he enjoying himself.

Not sure of the Nappy brand, He only ever wears cloth nappies. He's a special little boy who was born 10 weeks early (3lb 6oz) and nearly didn't make it. My sister also lost 2 babies before him at 19 weeks. I nearly have more photos of my nephew in the last year than I do of all my 5 children put together. lol.

I only heard about a Cake smash a few months ago and thought it was a great idea. Was fun to do. Little Jackson was really good with it. He even decided to tread on it. I got some great photos.

Well he enjoyed that!!
What a cute little boy and wow he has come on so well after his hard beginnings!
Meagan, lol I also tried to work out the nappy brand but couldn't. Front snap, minky with cotton tabs/top??
But also a little out of the loop as not had a child in nappies in over 2 years.
JD yep it's a common photo thing these days. Birthday cakes, wedding dresses etc.

How gorgeous. Both the cake and the nephew. I've never heard of cake smashing, an interesting concept. You can see I am well and truly out of the loop. DD was even born when cloth nappies were the norm.
Dede he will be lovely. My DD was just under 4 lb and has grown up to be a lovely, intelligent young lady. She had a few hastles but came through them. One of the nurses informed me that prem babies just want to get here and begin learning, which helped me a lot in the early stages.

Prem baby's are so precious as they need extra help to survive. He was so little and fragile when he was born. He become very sick when he was a couple of weeks old with meningitis and pneumonia we thought he wasn't going to make it. But he did and he is a very active happy little boy now.
