I'm another newbie, owned my TMX for 2 days!
« on: February 17, 2011, 06:47:04 pm »
Hi Everyone  :)

I received my TMX 2 days ago and am already devoted to it! I made chicken curry with steamed rice and chocolate sorbet last night and my family loved it, in fact they ALL had seconds which is very unusual.  I also made butter and DH though it was the best he'd ever tasted!  So far so good.  Have got all my ingredients to attempt making bread at the weekend.  Can't wait!!

Hi pielady,
I have only had my TM for around 5 weeks and I couldn't live without it now. I couldn't even guess how many things I have made since. I have become so creative making things I havnt even attempted before or didn't like making because of the effort. It is so easy to wip a meal up now. You will have so much fun. And the family love it. My favorite bread is the cheese and bacon rolls from this forum. Theyare so yummy. I use this recipe to make plain rolls and a loaf of bread as well.
Enjoy your new best friend.

Welcome to the forum.  I've been making bread for years on and off but with limited success.  Now with my TMX I'm making fantastic bread that even dh likes.  My children have always liked my home made bread!

Hi pielady, welcome to the forum.  It is so nice to get off to a good start, some find it a little harder than others but we all get there in the end.  Bread making is the most satisfying thing I have accomplished in the TMX - it never ceases to thrill me when I take freshly baked rolls or bread out of the oven. I would have thought by now it would have become the norm but it gives me  the same feeling I got when I finally produced my first successful loaf.  Have fun, it looks like your family are appreciating your efforts.

Judy, I'm exactly the same.  Perhaps you could enlighten me as you WHY I feel a very strong urge to taste test every single loaf I've made while its still warm .....  :-))
