Hi , new around here :)
« on: March 08, 2011, 11:55:48 pm »
so i guess i will introduce myself here and say hi :)
i am not yet a thermo owner but am looking at buying and have come and found this forum to gain a little more information before i buy :) and also to find a consultant in my area !
i learnt of this forum from some girls i know that also frequent a couple of parenting forums i also visit , (so to them i guess i will see u around here soon lol)
when i first started looking around this site last night i noticed that the member quirky cooking is located close to me so began speaking to her via her blog and she was very helpful with some info for me :) so thankyou ! i thought finding a consultant in my area would be difficult but it has been quiet simple :)

Don't worry GoneCrazY, Cookie will move it to the correct thread.  Hi and welcome to the forum where you will be utterly convinced you are doing the right thing in buying this amazing machine.  Who better for you to find as a consultant than Quirky Jo - you are one lucky lady as she has an amazing reputation and so much experience with the machine.  See you around on the forum as I know you will buy one  :D :D

Hi GoneCrazy!!! We had a great chat last night, didn't we! I rang around and I've got a few people down your way interested in a demo, so hopefully I'll meet you IRL soon  ;D

Thanks guys!!  ;D. It's funny, when I did my JGL training in Perth the other week they told me I'd be in charge of the Cassowary Coast as well as the tablelands, but I didn't think I'd be hearing from anyone down there for a while since Yasi devastated the area!! I'd just said the day before GC contacted me that I wouldn't be going down there any time soon, but I will be now.  :) It'll be interesting to see what it looks like down there since Yasi. Still a lot of work to be done there.  :(

jo i never thought it would be so easy to find a consultant ! i thought being is a small town that i would have trouble , but as soon as i opened a thread on here ( when i was still "guest " status before my login was approved i found u and ur blog link :D thats when i began speaking to u !!)

u will deffinantly get a shock when u see our town now !!! ( as im sure ur friends here in town have already told u !) ......
there are trees downs everywhere the whole beach front used to be lined with trees now u can count the remaining trees on ur fingers almost :(
we just found out yesterday that we will be getting new flooring due to the water we had thru the house , so i need to see when thats happening so i can arange the demo around that !

thanx everyone for the welcomes :)

No problem, GC, we can wait til your floor's fixed - at least you get a nice new floor! I don't think I could get through with the flooding yet anyway. I've seen some photos and it's pretty shocking!  :(

Hi Gonecrazy, I really need to be a bit more organised in my forum lurking as I had not noticed your post in this topic, instead welcoming you after a comment that you posted in another.  Hope that life is approaching normality for you and your community - happy thermie-ing.  Cheers  :)
