Thanks CarolineW & MM
« on: March 12, 2011, 04:21:53 am »
Well it looks like Caroline had success with MM and here is your new category girls.  Someone will now have the task of transferring all the meals applicable to this title to their new home. Will be great to have them all in one place, thank you to those concerned  :-* :-*

What sort of  meals would you like to see here? Things like Baf's chicken etc. I will be away for a week or so. Please make your suggestions and I can start doing it when I get back. If you are feeling really generous you could put the links in here and then we wouldn't need to transfer anything.
eg.

Baf's Chicken and all the alternatives.

I love the all - in - one meals ! My faves so far are from the EDC (well, I do variations) - risotto, pasta with tuna, creamy salami fettucine. I have also enjoyed a honey chicken recipe on here. Sorry, not sure how to do postings and links. Looking forward to some more recipes though!! :):)

Five Spice Port with Rice & Vegetables

Thanks for doing this CP. Was wondering if this is a bit like mulled wine ??  ;D ;D ;D  I do realise it is a typo, but thanks for giving me a LOL moment  :-* :-*

CP63, you are doing a good job.  Just do what you can when you have time.  I don't know how to do links like you so it would look messy if I did it my way.  Thanks for you help.  :-* :-* :-* :

Katya, I do the same as CP does with the word pork, I invariably type port and don't know why.

Thanks Caroline for suggesting this. It really is an important board. And as a user, there is nothing better than bunging all the ingredients in, pressing a few buttons and then Bob's your uncle.

I think this area is going to grow pretty quickly.

Take care everyone

Admin :)

I struggled to find these with the search function, but then had the brainwave to see if I could find them looking under my member records for my postings.  Jackpot.  So here goes:

Sweet & Sour all in one meal http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4529.msg56838#msg56838

General all in one meal guidelines http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4530.msg56839#msg56839

Creamy tomato sauce meal http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4528.msg56837#msg56837

White wine sauce meal http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4527.msg56836#msg56836

Salmon with mango sauce http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4526.msg56835#msg56835

I think that's all the all-in-one meals I've posted - I didn't look any further down in my postings list.

As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

sorry to be a bit of a blonde, but are the all in one meals the ones that have for example, soup cooking in the TM bowl and another meal cooking in the Varoma.  (Like the Chick Pea Soup and Warm Chicken, pumpkin and Couscous Salad at the Varoma demo).  I would love to have more recipe ideas similar to that so that I could cook 2 meals in one.

cheers,
Brigitta

I think of "all in one" meals as complete meals rather than several meals at once.  Often there is a sauce in the bowl, rice or potatoes in the basket and something else steaming on top.  At the end of cooking time the whole meal (including your carb/starch) should be ready to serve. I think these are usually different to one-pot meals also (unless it is something complete like Cathy's one-pot spag bol or tuna pasta from the EDC).

Cookie there is also Bangers and Mash and Italian Spaghetti & Meatballs.  :)
