It looks great fundj, I haven't got one of those tins (yet  :-))).  I just love all the different shaped loaves we can make.  How long did you have to cook a double batch of Chookie's recipe?

Fundj, I just had a look on ebay for one of those tins, that's what I really need.  Are you sure on your measurements because on ebay the pullman ones are 8in long which is 15.7cm.  All the ones on ebay are 8 inches long (20.3cm) and the height and width are the same.  So according to this yours is double the size.  I'd love a really large loaf tin to feed everyone in one go.  Many thanks.  Your bread looks really lovely.

Here in the U.S. the "standard" pullman loaf pan  16 inches by 4 inches.
holds a 2 pound loaf (weighed "wet" before baking)

However, there is at least one manufacturer who produces a pan that is  13 inches by 4 inches  that  takes  1 1/2 pounds of dough.

This should give you an idea of the weight of dough a pan will accept.  The difference in the additional 3 inches of length allows for an additional  8 ounces of dough and that is how I calculate the  measurement when I use a smaller, odd-sized pan intended for  patés or terrines but I have used it for bread.   It is approximately  11 inches x 3 x 3 inches and I fill it with 13 ounces of dough.
The lid doesn't fasten on but I use two  large hose clamps, which come in handy for lots of similar tasks, i.e., holding things together.
