It still amazes me..
« on: May 14, 2011, 06:44:47 am »
this "gadget".. Seriously, I am still amazed and tickled pink every time I used it.. After 7 months.

Love it, love it, love it to pieces. Love it!!!

Absolutely obsessed. Think everyone in the world should have one and can't understand why every single person isn't as awestruck by it as me  :D

THE best thing I've ever bought in my life. Almost the best thing in my life, but I s'pose husband & children should come before it  :-\

Just sayin'

The novelty doesn't wear off. There are 2 near me here in the caravan park and when I hear them I have to rush over and see what they are cooking.

I have a friend who has been deliberating for over 2 years, and everytime we see each other (which is roughly every 1.5 months) "are you still cooking with the TM?"
There is NO WAY our family would be without a TM now, and its hard for people who don't own one to understand what is so good about them --- just don't get me started, cos its very hard to rein myself in  :-))

Same here. Its great in my family as my sister and mother have a TM each so we are always bragging to each other about what we made. We definitely inspire each other. Oh and my sister is also a consultant and we love to hear about whats going on in the world of consultancy.

It still amazes me too.

When I don't really feel like cooking, I get out my EDC and am suddenly inspired to cook again!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

yes every now and then i have one of those wow moments all over again.  other people think i am demented for paying 2k for a cooking machine, but they dont realise just how much easier it makes my life!  maybe they are just jealous cause they dont have one lol

I don't even think of the money now.
It's paid for and paid for itself over and over.
I use it all the time, but also happy to use other methods of cooking.
It's the most used appliance in my kitchen and the cleanest, lol.
My kids and I couldn't imagine not having the Thermomix in the kitchen, but I don't get the wow anymore, I think I just don't remember life before it.

I very briefly showed mine to a friend of a friend who dropped in today. She didn't even flinch at the price, but then she loves cooking. I think she may be finding a consultant sooner or later.
