It's here :D
« on: May 19, 2011, 08:34:11 am »
Thermi arrived just before and I've made the vege stock concentrate. It smelt so good it made me hungry :/ Lol!

Dinner tonight is the Gorgonzola and Ricotta sauce over pasta with some shredded ham and a few other things added.

I think I am really going to love this piece of equipment! :D

Umm, I have a fairly well stocked pantry, Though I think there is a list somewhere of things it should contain???

Oh, When saute`ing things do I "need" to use so much oil as listed in some recipes? 50mls is so much! I don't cook with oil currently, Can I just omit it or reduce it to a tbsp??

Here's the pantry list Trish.  As far as the oil is concerned, you can reduce it to what you are comfortable with - I only use a tablespoon or 2 for most recipes unless a larger quantity is for a specific reason.  I never chop onions as much as most recipes say either - I usually do 2 sec/speed 5 and leave them with a bit of substance instead of mush.

How exciting for you Trish.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

2 successful dinners done now and everyone loved them :D

Gorgonzola and ricotta sauce and Gormet Beef Casserole. Yum!

I've made the playdough which was so soft and being a qualified kindy teacher it was the softest playdough I have ever made lol

I also made the LTM bars but kinda cooked them instead of mixing them so will re-attempt those lol
