The Butter Chicken gets rave reviews on here scottymag. It's from the Fast and Easy Indian Cookery Book for TM31, a great buy if you are a curry lover.

Hi Scottymag, welcome to the forum. There is an Indian cookbook for thermomix which is available in Australia and the UK. Otherwise on this site you'll find quite a few recipes such as
chicken kashmiri
and
lamb rogan josh
. Have a look through the main meals part of the forum for more ideas!
Hope DH loves your new recipes!

I have the Indian cookbook and there are a few recipes that are absolutely great. The tikka paste is very versatile and gorgeous but it was the Vindaloo that really sold it for my husband. He loves Indian Curries and from the first Vindaloo I made him, he hasn't muttered one more word about the cost of the TMX (and I bought it without telling him ....)
A friend of us is looking after a dog next week - he lives around an hour away - but for a curry he is coming to get the dog!
I don't like a hot curry but the butter chicken I really adored - the Vindaloo has never actually been tasted by me - dh swears its the best curry h'es every eaten (and he doesn't normally enjoy my cooking!

If you/your husband would consider Malaysian curry, there's the Asian cookbook you might like to have a look at.

Hi Scottymag, welcome to the forum. By now you will have gathered there is a recipe book just suited for your husband's needs. After you try those pointed out to you by the other girls, contact your consultant and order one and you will have one very happy DH.

Hi everyone on the topic of curries and husbands, my husband is upset that I just gave our slow cooker away to my mum. He claims its the only thing that he cooks curries in. The last time he cooked a curry was over a year ago, however, he is not convinced I made the right decision giving the slow cooker away, not understanding that the TM can out cook a slow cooker on every level. Could someone send me their fav curry recipe so I can prove the TM right (not me of course). I did the butter chicken from EDC, but it didnt sell him - I need intervention material!!
Cheers!

Oops, don't know if I would have given it away either liccyj, for larger groups or being out all day and wanting tea ready when you returned, it is still very handy.
Nico's Thai Chilli Chicken
is my favourite curry.
My curried sausage recipe
seems to be popular with men.
Butter chicken/tikka paste recipe
CP posted from the Indian book is another winner.

I don't think I'd give my slow cooker away either, its great for curry. Actually I've cooked that many curries in my slow cooker it smells like curry! I had to buy a second slow cooker for other dishes
The Thermomix gets a curry work-out too! I hadn't seen your curry sausages recipe before Judy, I think I might have to put that on the menu this week. I'm sure it's fab like all JD's recipes

Aside from TM, I am a pressure cooker fan myself.
If I was to cook a meal I probably would not select an Indian dish. I would like that dish to be cooked
for me
. I bought the Indian cookbook tho, and have made Chicken Korma p116 which we all loved. If your DH is going to lament the passing of the slow cooker I would suggest getting a copy of the Indian cookbook, for about $35 you can cheaply redeem yourself

Hi scottymag. Do you have the Indian cookbook? Hopefully all the other helpers here have provided you with something for your husband.
