Hi Winn. Welcome to the forum.
Yes there are many fabulous recipes here and many wise thermomixers who generously share their knowledge and experience.
You are very lucky, only a few days to wait until Tuesday. Just enough time to make a list of recipes to try, shop for ingredients and be ready for the new arrival.

Hi Winn and welcome to the Forum from another Yorkshire lass - I live in Sheffield.
I hope you manage to contain your excitement until Tuesday..... the waiting is the worst part. There are loads of useful tips on here so you've got plenty of reading to do before it arrives
Once you've got your machine, don't be afraid to come on here and ask any questions you may have. No question is too silly and you'll usually be able to find someone to answer you.
Happy cooking

Hi Winn, a big welcome to another member from the UK - you have plenty of support from your team at UK Thermomix from what I have read about them and some great recipes on their website. Our members on this forum are only too ready and willing to lend you their support as well so, as the girls have said, if you have a problem just ask. Looking forward to you sharing your experiences with us.

Hi Winn, welcome to the TMX world, especially this forum. Another member with whom I will be able to share time during my insomniac moments, when all 'normal' Oz members are in the land of nod.

Apologies for not replying, but my friend was rushed into hospital last weekend so have been visiting, thankfully she should be home within the next day or two.
Bimby received and unpacked on tuesday but not had time to use as yet. Going for demonstration this morning, really looking forward to this. Hope it will give me the confidence as still a bit nervous about using the Bimby although the instructions for use are very good.
I will let you all know how things turn out as I will have to go now as it is at least an hours drive away for the demonstration (thank goodness for sat nav).

Good luck with the driving Winn - hope you get there safely
Hope your first ventures with flying the machine solo go well - don't forget you can always post ANY questions you have on here so there's no need to be nervous about your first journey.

I went for the demonstration yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed it. Everyone was very nice and the demonstrator was extremely friendly and helpful to all.
Made the chilli Jam (fantastic taste) from this site and then did part of the demonstration menu for myself today. Really enjoyed the Red pepper and tomato soup (will become a firm favourite) and steamed vegetable gratin in oven at moment. Took me a while to doi n the beginning, kept having to check the time speed etc. but got quicker and more confident each step.
It is very obvious to me as to why people love their Bimbys. Thanks again for your support and special thanks to the lady for the chilli jam recipe.
