20g melted butter
140g SR flour
pinch salt
40g sugar
1/4 tspn bicarbonate of soda
1.5 MC sour milk (if fresh, add 1 tsp vinegar)
1 egg
Place butter into bowl and melt for 40 sec/50o/on speed 4.
Add remainder of ingredients to the bowl. Mix for 30 seconds on speed 5 until smooth.
Place in spoonfuls onto hot griddle. Cook until bubbled and then turn over and cook other side.
Serve with maple syrup or cream and homemade jam.
