Are they just ordinary chicken thighs Yvette not the more expensive organic ones?

This one was a bit rich and overpowering for us unfortunately. We ended up having yogurt and fruit for tea. You can't win them all.

Sorry you didn't enjoy, but the fruit and yogurt sounds very healthy.

No worries. It just goes to show that we all have different tastes as it has otherwise been receiving rave reviews.

Its good to see honesty on here. Not everyone likes the same things. If I try a recipe I don't like I either throw it or tweak it (Depends on how bad it was)

With all the rave reviews I thought we had better try this. I like to use chicken breasts and we don't really like the way they break up in the TMX so I made a few modifications. I cooked the breasts in the non stick, made the sauce in the TMX and then poured it over the partially cooked breasts. While they simmered on low I cooked the rice in the TMX.
We loved it and it received DH's greatest praise-"This would be a good one in the van." I think he has a one track mind at the moment.

This recipe was a HUGE success for me and it's a definite 'keeper' - thanks rainbow.
I also used 2 cloves of garlic and normal tablespoon of cornflour - but halved the soy sauce, water and honey to reduce the amount of sauce (kept all of the other seasonings the same), I only had a standard woollies type tray of chicken (about 500grams) - these quantities were perfect for 2 of us with some leftovers (we will fight over who will get this for lunch tomorrow) ... I kept the same cooking time - and it turned out perfect, the chicken was tender and there was still more than enough sauce for the rice and vegies. Oh and I sprinkled with a few crushed peanuts as I didn't have any sesame seeds...

We'll see about that, trying to eat them as a kid tended to make me wretch so I try and avoid them as best I can
