I love the fried bee hoon very much.. It's delicious and yummy.. This is the portion for 4-5 ppls.. My parent in law (who come here for holiday) were impressed with this dishes and they enjoyed very much.. maybe can comment it's healthier than outside fried bee hoon..
We cooked this 2-3 times already.. My husband loves it as well..

Right, that looks so good, I'm ordering A Taste of Asia from my consultant right now!

Made this tonight.
Really lovely flavours. I didn't have the wood ear (forgot to get it and couldn't be bothered going back to the shops) but had loads of dried shitake so just did more of that. (mine are already chopped so just did a bowl full, no idea if it was 4+ but looked like it).
But I could barely fit it all in, when I tried putting the noodles and cabbage in they sort of sat on top and I had to keep squishing them down to get the lid on (took a while), I dont' think there was too much volume wise just it wouldn't pack down? Then got the lid on and turned around a minute later and the noodles were spinning around the butterfly and then poking out the top (it was quite hilarious actually), I tried to shove them in to no avail so just left it. Thought they wouldn't cook properly but all was perfect (mine were fine ones and did the 6 mins).
Loads of leftovers (maybe I just had too much of everything?!! Will admit to not weighing and sure there was a bit more chicken, but did 1/2 a 400g packet of noodles so assume that was the required 200g) and everyone loved it so will do again.
Forgot the photo!!! We were hungry.

Made this tonight it was delicious, lots of flavour, which surprised me as there was only a teaspoon of this and that. I cooked mine for l9 minutes, next time I will cut the cooking time down to 6 min. it didn't look as good as the picture that FHL posted, it also could have been the noodles as I only had bean Vermicelli.

Just bumping this. I would be very grateful if someone could please share the Bee Hoon recipe.
Also, does anyone know if/when the Taste of Asia will be available to buy on the TM website? I contacted TM head office but haven't heard back.
Thanks

I made this tonight and did as the recipe stated and had the cabbage and vermicelli sticking out the hole spinning around too. Next time i'll cut the vermicelli into smaller lengths. I'll also double the sauce flavours (prob not the water) as it needed a little more oomph.
Bonus with this one...left overs for tomorrows tea!
