Hi I'm ChonnyM
« on: May 31, 2011, 03:40:39 am »
Hi There!

I'm Chonny (Chantal); and I took delivery of my Thermomix over the weekend.  SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!  So far I've made the veggie stock; pumpkin soup; 3 loaves of bread; caramel slice; mashed potatoes & steamed veggies; Asian style fish with rice and steamed vegies....

I'm giving risotto a go tonight - and might whip up some tahini for my next hommus...

And I might try an orange and poppyseed cake (request from workmates).

Love that I can enjoy cooking in next to no time (with next to no dishes); and manage my full time work as a mother of a 4-year old (watch out junior masterchef - he's on his way!!)

I've just started to blog too - www.ChonnyM.blogspot.com - although I only update this occassionally.

Happy thermomixing  ;)

Hi Chantal, welcome to the forum. You sound like one busy Mummy and it's great that the TMX can help you out so easily.  You are going great guns, keep it up.

Welcome Chantal. I think its lovely that you are able to stay home with your 4 year old.

Welcome Chonny.  You are a great new member as you have already thought me something new.  I foolishly did not even think to make my own tahini. It should be a breeze in the TM.  Enjoy.
