Another new TM owner from Melbourne
« on: June 18, 2011, 06:06:25 am »
Okay, figured it was time to stop stalking and join the conversation!  We took delivery of our TM back in March and it is slowly transforming our eating habits.  I work full time and our two adult children are still home while they study at uni so life is pretty hectic.  However slowly we are learning new skills and enjoying the journey along the way.  I am in awe of people who start off making bread - we have just graduated to this in the last week, next stop is yoghurt so wish me luck!  I have been inspired and gained a lot of confidence from everyone on this forum, and look forward to contributing along the way.

Hi Lainie, welcome to the forum, glad you are enjoying your new family member.  I daresay all members of the family are using your machine and I wish you well with the yoghurt trial - some people have no trouble whatsoever and others just can't master it so it will be interesting to see how you go.  Nice to hear you are into the bread though, we all love our bread making ability.

Hi Lainie,
Welcome to the forum.  I am from Melbourne as well and a bit like you, working full-time with 2 kids (both boys) - one just finished Uni and one just 12.  The 12 yo made the TM pancakes today and was very proud of himself.  Try making the butter to go with your bread.  I use 2 x 300 ml of the Meadowvale brand with a little bit of salt and it comes out perfectly.  Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers,
Chris

Welcome Lainie. I'm pleased that your TMX adventures are going well. I love making bread.
