Name of Recipe: Apple & Pear Chicken
Number of People: 4
Ingredients:700g chicken breast
Flour
2 red onions (150g)
20g extra virgin olive oil
200g water
1 tbsp Thermomix stock concentrate
10g parsley leaves
1 bag of saffron (mine was 0.1g)
5g finely chopped ginger
Salt, pepper
200g apple
200g pear
Preparation: Chop chicken into mid size cubes and coat with flour
Chop 1 of the onions for 5 seconds on Speed 5-6. Scrape down the sides with spatula
Insert 'Butterfly'. Add oil and chicken. Cook for 3 minutes at Varoma Temperature on Reverse / Soft Speed
Add water, Thermomix stock concentrate, parsley, saffron and ginger. Cook for 20 minutes at 100ºC on Reverse / Soft Speed
Cut the remaining 1 onion into thin slices. Add into TM Bowl and cook for 5 minutes at Varoma Temperature on Reverse / Soft Speed
Peel apple and pear, cut into slices. (My apple and pear were large so I cut them into thin slices and then halved every slice)
Add apple and pear. Cook for 10 minutes at Varoma Temperature on Reverse / Soft Speed
Serve into plates

Dashing Den - This gets 2 thumbs up from me. It was really delicious, the flavours really worked together.
Made again and added one carrot, one stick of celery and half a small zucchini to veg it up a bit. I add them with the onion at the beginning. I have frozen the leftovers and think when I have it again I might serve it over Quinoa.
