Introducing me...

Hi everyone, I have just become a forum member.
My wonderful thermomix machine is scheduled to arrive on Thursday. I am enjoying reading about all the great recipes and tips.
About me: I'm a married mum, with three awesome boys. I work casual at Rebel Sport - around 20 hours a week.
I'm wanting to improve my health after a couple of years of frequent illness. I am also saving for a trip to Europe next year.
The TM is gonna be such a huge help to our family in time and money savings, improved nutrition and revamping an extremely over-used catalogue of meal ideas!
I look forward to reading your stories, recipes and hints.
Cheers, Sharon

Welcome Sharon. The forum is great for researching some recipes so you can hit the ground running when your Thermomix arrives. Sue

Hi and Welcome Sharon.
This forum is the bible for TM recipes. And if you ever need help then just ask as there is always someone who will have the answers. I'm a married mother of 5 and I find I am saving around $200 a f/night on food because of the TM. I have only had mine around 6 months and it would be half paid for already with the savings. I don't think you will see much change in savings for the first couple of months cause you will be buying up ingredients to try lots of new recipes. Good luck with all your cooking

Hi Sharon, welcome to the forum. As the girls have said, you will find every recipe imaginable on this forum. A lot of us rarely have the same thing twice (unless we are eating leftovers
) because we are keen to try as many recipes as possible. The supply is neverending what with this forum, the UK forum as Trudy suggested, members' personal blogs and of course the recipe books. Roll on Thursday - have fun.

Welcome Sharon. Only 3 more sleeps until your machine comes. I can remember being really excited when mine came 2½ years ago. I kept telling myself it was silly to get excited about the arrival of a kitchen gadget, but it is so m uch more than that. All the advice you have been given is very true. I look forward to
hearing
reading about your adventures.

I thought the countdown to Christmas as a child was a nerve wracking affair - nothing compared to that wait until the TMX arrives.!!

Hi and welcome to the forum Sharon - on reflection I now have to agree with twitterpad. I have had the indispensable thermie for just on 12 mths, I can share everyone's excitement and relate to their enthusiasm. However my consultant was a little perplexed when my TMX arrived at the beginning of a week and I asked that it be delivered the following week end. Despite researching and reading all reviews and comments, particularly those of the wonderful forum members, I was a little nervous that the '
queen of kitchen appliances
' had purchased another to add to the cupboard collection
. How wrong I was - I would hate to have to manage without my second set of hands now - yeah!!!!!!
