Sourdough Loaf adapted from Masterchef magazine

Lock lid and

REmove and place in an oiled bowl to double in size.
Knock dough down and then allow to rise until doubled again. (Yes twice)
Place onto mat and knock down again. Shape or place into a tin.
Cover loosely and allow to rise until doubled again.
Bake at 200

This recipe was converted from the latest Masterchef magazine. It is not a true sourdough but is tasty.

Sure does JulieO. DH has ordered another loaf, but he will have to wait until Thursday as I'll be out tomorrow. You really need to be in all day to do it with all the rises. It gives it a lovely flavour though.

I made this one today Cookie, think I should have cooked it a further 5 minutes as it is not very brown but it tastes lovely. Silly me forgot to use my pipe loaf tin

It sure did and yes my first loaf of pale bread - usually mine are too dark. 5 minutes more next time should do it but we were waiting to go out today and what with the 3 rises, you get a bit impatient
