Ordered some curtain material. Paid a deposit to hold the material as apparently at this time of year they can run out. Final measuring still to be done. I will try to find links to show you what we have chosen.
For the living room
http://www.247curtains.co.uk/alderley-parsley-made-to-measure-curtains
For the dining room this fabric
http://www.kimberley-dawn-cushions.co.uk/Sanderson_Pondicherry_Blue_Gold_Fabric_Cushions_1122.php
For the kitchen
http://www.thelittlecurtaincompany.com/images/BW_Arbury_Waterperry1.jpg
. I think this is the right colour way, hard to tell with such a small pic.
I hope the links work.
2 Neff Electric ovens coming next week too, with a belling induction hob with dial controls for extra cooking or when the Aga is turned off in hot weather. There was only one hob with dials available so a belling it is.
I have the curtains of two rooms still to decide. The guest sitting room and a family bedroom. Think I might look at stripes for a change for the bedroom, and have a fair idea of what to put in guest SR. We nearly had it in the living room but it was too busy on 4 large windows. I will have to search for its name and post another day.

Today I'm going to find storage containers. More clip food containers and glass jars for Christmas hampers.

Wondering about this one for remaining bedroom.
A bit different.

Was looking for stripes and found this. Very stripes I know. LOL The fabric sample arrived today and it is a lovely blue. With warm painted walls it should be fine. Windows face north ( small) and west ( large).
Not sure will be done by Xmas. Have no date INAID just done when it's done. We are coping without curtains. It is dark at night and we have no neighbours. If it was summer it'd be hard being light at 4 am!
This one maybe for guest sitting room. Not sure if this is right shade.

So many decisions to make. Thank goodness you are not making all these curtains. I have no coverings on my windows at all and the sun is coming up about 0545 these days. The kookaburra on my pool fence woke me up this morning just at sunrise.

Yes Gert but fun decisions on the whole. We will make mistakes in our Reno and refurb and live with them for the next ** years.... LOL
I already wished I'd done a different bathroom blind for us when the second samples came. They came in two batches and I didn't realise there were some missing! Ah well, it is not a major thing am spoiled for choice with lovely colours. Still happy with the Sissinghurst pattern in eggshell.
Want to start painting but too much dust and dirt for that. Need to wait for tradies to finish.
