We actually use our crab boiler as a smoker. We put sawdust on the base of it. Put the fish or whatever on a high cake rack above it and put the lid on. We then put it on a gas fire and off we go.

I use my Cobb BBQ as a smoker. I soak a handful of chips or sawdust in water and put them in an open foil parcel. I think sit the parcel on the briquettes and close the lid and it smokes really well. Our favourite is smoked corn beef. Love it   ;D

I just took delivery of a 'string curtain' for my ensuite.  The door was taken off when Geoff was here to give us a wider gap for the shower chair and I want to leave it off.  This should separate the bedroom from the ensuite nicely, something a bit different.  I chose a black one to go with the walnut furniture and with the light coming through the back of it, it shouldn't look too dark (I hope).  No time to install it yet. If you haven't seen these before, scroll down and you will see the 'strings' they are made from.

I love that Judy. Our ensuite doesn't have a door as it is over 2 metres wide. Something like this would be nice for winter as the hot flows out into the bedroom. I'm not sure if it would ruin tha aesthetics of the large open ensuite.

Thanks Judy. I'll show DH the link and see what he says. I think they are very classy and would look lovely.

Well I've hung my curtain.  There's not much gather in the size I bought so you'd need to double up if you wanted it thicker.  Not sure if it makes any difference to the gap as you can still see everything behind it but it's up and it's staying there ;D
Someone is bound to ask who the babies in the photos are - that's me up the top followed by DD No. 1 and DD2.
