On way home in car. DD driving been shopping in Cardiff. Long day. It started on a train that sat in station an hour then was cancelled due to flooding . They offered a bus but we opted to drive.
I bought a goose down pillow for me!
Looked at mattresses and towels for when house is finished.  ;D

That would have been a hike. How long does it take to Cardiff  compared to Bristol or London. Guess London is further . Yup long day indeed.

DJ I love goose down pillows. It ended up being a lovely afternoon in London after the morning rain, sunny and blue sky  :)

Yesterday shopping with DD, was one of those shopping days where everything fell into place...and all was on sale  8)....despite DD telling me that I would have bad shopping karma, as I killed a lady bug on my window, when It went down to get a parking ticket   :( sorry Lady bug.

I don't "do" New Years Resolutions as such, but My aim this year is not to buy any more appliances or kitchen stuff....so, my focus is on freshening up our bedroom, re-painting inside & changing exterior colours, & re-do our garden areas.... I will be getting new bench tops hopefully soon though.

the shopping (which town was even crazier Pre-Christmas  :-\)

At Laura Ashley I was thrilled to pick up this king quilt set, marked down from $319 to $95  8)....and bought the matching euro pillows.

bed throw

Gorgeous hotel quality sheet sets at Harris Scarfe
And Peter Alexander PJ's...ducks on cupcakes for me

And "cereal killer" ones for DD (appeals to her humour)

Then naturally we popped into T2, & DD picked up 4 more new teas.

Then online I picked up Rachel Ashwell linen from her shabby chic range

Notice how I chose blue to make it not so girly for DH...despite the flowers  :P

Sheer panels in very soft pink for our bedroom

And a pastel stripe sheet set

Maddy, absolutely gorgeous as always.  I am trying to get rid of a couple of kitchen appliances at the moment.  Have yet to decide whether I will get anything else

Not only the shopping Queen but the quality of what you buy is tops too maddy.  Very pretty linen.  If the blue set is for your room, whose is the pink set ?

You could not sneak that bedroom shopping past your DH Maddy  ;D have any of his mates seen where he sleeps?  :D
I bought 8 Wedgewood Vera Wang wine glasses with a gift voucher my friends gave me for my 50th. The present had to be something for myself, but I also wanted something to remember them and the occasion by. They'll also get to use them so it seems to be a win win pressie
