I love the British Bakeoff one. I have been watching that on Gem tv and have become quite addicted to it.
Is it good Jamberie? I may spoil myself. :-\

It is good, It is a lovely coffee table book and very pretty to look at with some good ideas/hints. I was a bit disappointed that not all the recipes have pictures. I may or may not have taken photos of a few of the recipes that I like. If I end up cooking a couple of them I'll purchase the book for myself.
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

with the idea of getting totally organised meal wise this year when I return to work next week I redeemed a 6 in 1 multi cooker with my flyby points. It arrived today so now I need to get cracking on my menu plans!!!  :o

I just did some flybuy shopping too - ordered a set of chopping boards as one of mine has started to disinegrate!  :o

I also just used the Breville Party Pie mini pie maker that I got this week - bought it second hand off trademe.  Yum, but not necessarily good for the waistline - the idea was to make a batch and then freeze to pull out for lunchboxes, but run out of freezer space.  Didn't plan that very well!!

New mugs in sale.
For our own use when all works finished and all chipped ones thrown out.
Quite pleased as they work out at £2.60 each for good china and half pint ones too.

It's always nice to replace your old kitchen mugs, they are lovely DJ.  I recently bought myself 6 new mugs but have yet to get rid of any of the old ones  :-))

DJ they are lovely, you will enjoy them when you finally get them out to use  :)  I'm a bit ruthless with my mugs and throw them as soon as they have a chip in them so end up with a draw full of mismatched mugs ... perfectly fine for the teenagers (have to stop saying that as the younger of the *teens* is no longer a teen this year  :o :o :o :o) to store in their rooms until they decide it is dishes time ... I now have a secret stash of nice matching mugs for my visitors  ;D ;D

I've had a bit of a shopping spree, a new laptop MacBook Air, Apple TV, a new watch and some stacking rings.

I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
