Love the linen Jen...it's a lovely guilty pleasure to mix it up often
Bought an infrared thermometer gun...will be interesting to see how it performs

Oh Oh, CP - does it work in your WF oven? I have looked everywhere for one here, but gave up! Would love to have one here for our oven, although can tell the temp by the colour of the bricks at the back and where the hairs on your arms singe at what point in the oven.

Thats a very effective way of telling the temp, but we can just point it at the inside wall or floor and determine the temp in a sec. My DH is able to retain his hairy arms.

It does work, a bit smelly, but if you are quick it doesn't hurt!
Would rather the temp gun to be honest as over the cooler months when we use our oven a lot we don't have enough hairy arms to go in and tell the temp!!
Funnily enough guests aren't so willing to be our temp gauge for us
Hanging out for pizzas again, we can't light ours over summer
