DD has that book BZB. I don't know if she has made anything from it yet.

Finally bought a Sunbeam Food Saver after procrastinating for a while. So easy to use. Hopefully, no more freezer burn.

Bought what I hope is the last tin of paint today to finish this house.
Final coat on Monday on DD bedroom, she has moved out and it will eventually be let to guests.
She came back so sudden that I only got one coat on before. Plus need to stain the wood in there.
Plus bought industrial quantities of halls soothers, to stop this horrible cough... Only things that work.
And 15 brackets for Dh's shelves made out of conti board.

Looks like you are on the final count down now, DJ. What a huge amount of effort, time, blood, sweat and tears you have put in over the past months. Well done. Perhaps you will get a chance to simply relax and enjoy it over the coming months.
Looking forward to seeing photos of the completed works.

It sounds as if you are almost ready to buy a Visitors Book DJ, are you going to get one of those for your B & B guests to sign and make comments.

Great idea Judy. I love reading and signing the visitors book when at a B&B.

I haven't bought anything in the last few days but I have been listing some of my things on ebay.
Just this morning listed the Pink 3-tier cake and pie carrier (item 181375565213) - that I think I posted a photo of a few months back.
Already 21 views, no bids though.
I also listed some "Folkwear" clothing patterns I bought back in the early '80s and never used. One is Australian Bush Outfit ...
I have no idea why I bought it. I was doing a lot of sewing back then but nothing like those outfits. (number: 181375578071)
I've got the 5 patterns bundled together because I don't want the hassle of selling them separately.
On my
FaceBook page
I have been posting photos of some of my collections I am prepping for ebay.
The "Heavy Metal" cast iron stuff - of which I literally have a ton -

Andie, you have so many collections it will take you forever to sell everything if that's where you are heading at the moment. Nice to see a picture of a younger you and good luck with ebay sales.

Gone a bit mad tonight online..
Vaccum storage bags for spare bedding etc, two bedside lights ( tall ones CC) for the middle bedroom.
Mop and mop heads, shoe storage boxes, Hoover bags, big and strong clothes pegs, 2 fly covers for food and fruit the kitchen, disposable gloves. Quite shocking how it all mounts up from the comfort of the sofa!!!! Still no time or energy to go shopping just now.

Nothing makes you feel better when I'll than shopping on line from the comfort of your bed!
I am glad you bought TALL lamps. I really get very annoyed when you have tiny low lights by the bed as they are hopeless for anything including reading.

Don't you hate the lighting in hotel rooms Gert, even with every light in the room turned on it is too dark for me.
