I bought a Apple Air today. Haven't had much of a play, but it's quite different to my iPad and if course very different to PC's which is what I'm used to for work. Love learning something new but I'm no way a computer geek so that's why its good to keep tge challenges up.

Love all your shopping Maddy. Enjoy the challenge cp, I have a Mac book air and love it, took me a little while to get use to it, but having an iPad helped so did mr Google.

Still learning my way around my IPad. That will keep me busy for ages. Not very computer savvy, have got lazy relying on DH too much as he's a whizz in that dept.

Katie, I also bought that CSIRO book yesterday. Look at the recipe on page 88. I have been told it is very good.

The WW one was $29, the 5.2 one I bought because it was originally written in French and has 30 recipes for 500 calories, where you cook the recipe and eat it when you wish during the 2 day.  Interesting.

The WW book was a good buy Chookie. You can't go wrong with WW.

Katj I love my ipad. I bought a book called ipad for Seniors. Actually it is a magazine thing. Also DD helps me when I get stuck.

Katie,  tried this recipe last night.  Not all that impressed. Would remove the whole spices next time or use ground spices.

Chookie does the WW book repeat many recipes please? I have lots of them as smaller books. I will still have a peek at it. I was thoroughly spoiled and received some Dymocks vouchers at Christmas.

I finally have a major purchase to share :).  My Phillips Pasta and Noodle maker arrived today.  I've already made Udon noodles for my son's lunch tomorrow and I have fresh spaghetti waiting for Tom (TM31) to make a tomato sauce to go with them.  Truss tomatoes are on sale at Coles for $3 a kilo at the moment so I'm adding a little basil, garlic and capsicum and have a really simple easy meal :).  I think this is going to be a much used toy.
