THE SHOPPING THREAD :-)
« Reply #13860 on: April 25, 2015, 04:26:10 am »
I took Karen's advice and bought one of the covers to use instead of Glad Wrap. I love it. DH also bought me a Bread Cloche for baking my bread. I am going to use it this morning. I forgot I had to season it.

At Kitchen Warehouse Trudy. I made my first bread in it today, a lot of trial and error but I am satisfied for a first try.

I'm just home from a little retail therapy, walked into one shop, came out with two pairs of jean and 3 tops and $ 350. Poorer but I got 30% off everything. DH didn't even ask how much I spent. Love it when you walk into a shop a find just what you want.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Lucky you for having a well trained DH. Where can I find one of those please? I have to walk into the house very confident and happy with my purchases to be able to deflect my DH's questions such as " do we really need another...?"

your DH needs a bit more training  Mep.

Love it when you find what you want.
I bought hair ties, and braids for DD yesterday,  and agate necklaces online.

As DH is happy enough to leave the financial side of things to me, he knows if we buy something then we can afford it.   I think I was feeling a little guilty the other day spending so much just on me.  Have never spent so much on one pair of shoes, plus buying the other pair and the Watch all in one day.  At the moment we are saving up for our 2 week holiday in Melbourne but the fact that he didn't mind at all when I showed them to him and in fact liked them showed me it was all in my head!  :P
