Well done Cookie.  How I hate shopping for clothes for special occasions.  You will look lovely in Red.

I know I was slack in finding something for the wedding Judy. I think I was worried I wouldn’t find anything so kept delaying it.

Did you take DD for another opinion cookie?

Love Red Cookie. I wear quite a lot of red too. I can’t wear the colour gold/mustard as I look terrible in clothes in that colour.

Me too Denise. Yet our colouring is quite different.

No Judy DD was at work. It was only a small shop and there were several ladies in there chatting with the owner, so I asked their opinion. They were great, they asked questions about the event etc before passing judgement.

That’s good cookie, a more honest opinion from other shoppers - I never listen to the salesperson, mostly they’ll try and talk you into anything.

These days I don’t often get a bargain when grocery shopping.  Yesterday our IGA had butterflied legs of lamb at $10 a kilo. They are excellent slow cooked on BBQ.  I bought several.  1/2 for DD.

Managed to arrange a day off yesterday went out and about and bought a new quilt cover and small stereo hifi as well ... all in all a bit of an expensive, but productive, day.

Nice buys Marina.  I love buying new quilts and I’ll be looking for one soon to replace my summer one. Last night I had to make an emergency trip to have my glasses tightened, just made that particular store before they closed at 7 pm.  Without my glasses I couldn’t even see the screws to tighten them.  Whilst at the shopping centre I had a bit of a browse and came home with a pair of casual loafers plus I ended up in Kathmandu where I bought thermal underwear to wear to the football this season.  Summer hasn’t been warm enough for me so I think I might find winter a bit trying this year, hopefully the 2 items will help.

Well done Marina and Judy.  Got a very nice freebie yesterday.  Went to dentist and they have 2 massive Apple trees.  They said help yourself.  So I did. Last night I bottled 6 Dolmio jars in the Microwave. Hope to do more today.

Nice shopping Marina and Judy.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

LOL Chookie, I can’t see you ever turning down a ‘help yourself’ offer - not many of us would.  A great bonus for you.

Great shopping ladies. We don't use a doona as DH and I have different heat requirements at night. I like to cuddle up and he likes to be quite cool. I do have fun getting new bedspreads though. Not very often. DH likes to lie on the bed and chat on the phone. He always has his feet in the same spot and after a few years the bedspread wears in that spot. Then it is a new one. ;D ;D ;D
