This is for Frozzie. I hope she sees it. An obviously irresistible baguette!

:) I have so many limes, and lemons at the moment, I am gong to juice up and freeze, and freeze the zest.

So for shopping, more containers to put it in.

That looks like a real 'husband basher' Gretchen.

Drove over to the Middle Eastern market this morning and bought a few goodies.

Cute little eggplants and some mildly spicy "frying" peppers.

Trying canned hummus (hommos) for the first time - not till I have company because it's a big can.
Also a jar of mildly spicy "pepper paste" from Turkey.
And a bag of chickpea flour (to try a hummus recipe using this instead of canned or cooked chickpeas).

Also some other things, Israeli cucumbers, baby bananas, some tomatoes and some enormous "globe" onions.

CGU insurance were very quick to send me a cheque for the repairs. (shame the repair guy was not so quick) but he is a small business on his own and a lovely old guy. And I survived without it for the last 5-6 weeks. So all good :)

I know there are a few of you out there that like these free promotional things like me!

I was at Woolworths today and they have a promo on Philly cheese.  Buy 3 Philly products and you get a free pack including a little cookbook with recipes by Suzanne Gibbs, Louise Fulton Keats and Kate Gibbs (Margaret Fultons daughter and grand daughters), an oven mitt and a silicone spatula.

It is in the online catalogue too.
