What do you like buying from Costco fundj? My dd's favourites are the Asian prawn wonton and noodle soup (every second trolley had a box of these),. I like the meat, feta cheese and detergents.

Aldi is especially good for their catalogue specials for the house. Don't like their food.

Anyone have one of these airwaves fryers? The ones that cook chips etc with only a small amount of oil.
Was thinking of getting one but only if they are good.

I want to know too as DH wants one. I did ask before but no one answered so I figured no one had one!!! I also want to know what they smell like when they are cooking because if they smell anything like fit chips then it won't be making its way into this house. The smell of them makes me want to vomit and I avoid that area of our shopping centre!!

 :) I'll second that Gretchen.
Costco or aldi would be great.

+ve...I have spoken to people who own them, and they say they are great and do a nice crisp chip or batter.
Easy to clean.

But that they are very similar to oven fries and that if they knew what the end result would be would simply have stayed with oven fried..

-ve...  They are big and bulky and take up a lot of bench and cupboard space.

Well it's good to know. Just been to Harvey Norman and had a look. Yes they are quiet big and I don't think they would hold much for our size family. Think I will stick to the oven. They are $269 so quiet expensive. Oh well worth a look. :)

I'm with you Gretchen - Adelaide misses out too. At least we now have Ikea, but it would be nice to have more choice for groceries. Luckily we have a great farmers market at the show grounds so we can get decent fruit, veges, milk, meat etc.
I really want an Aldi coffee machine.  Waa boo hoo....

Yes  you  have great farmers markets and delies as well. We do not have either. Obbie will tell you that they get good produce up on the Tablelands.

I would not change my Jura for an Aldi coffee machine. No way.

Ah well at least I am always warm.

:-* Gretchen we do have the best of fresh produce here, its great.  Wines, milks, cheeses, chocolate  to name a few.
just no shops to shop in, unless I come down to Cairns, like this weekend.

I live in the best paradise, great views,  but we need more shops.
My shop is very nice, but I don't sell kitchenware, just guys stuff.

Atherton has nothing either.
So I buy online mostly.
