I know how you felt dede. I paid the phone and water today, bought medications  (we're getting older), and posted off the house and contents insurance. Thank goodness the freezer has food otherwise it may be vegemite on toast. (only kidding)
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Does paying for a massage/chiro guy and a farrier and an equine dentist for 2 special boys (horses) count as shopping? I don't have anything to show for it really...except neat hooves and shiny teeth!
Wouldn't mind a massage myself after todays effort!

Where are you going for high tea Michele - some classy hotel/restaurant or a friends' place?

We are going to the Sebel - Newcastle. Our gorgeous ward clerk Sonya is getting married and we even have a private room.

Sounds great Michele, have fun.  I've only ever been to one here in Adelaide - our carers group were taken to the Stamford Grand Hotel, Glenelg.  They really look after you and treat you as someone special so we all appreciated it.

Lots of money spending today. An expensive hair cut, two tops from witchery both 25% off, and the 5 in 1 multi cooker and unfortunately my son smashed the screen on our iPad yesterday so had to go and get it swapped over - not an expense I was wanting after already spending so much this weekend.

Michele, I love that skirt too.

I had a haircut yesterday, bought nothing today, just home baking.

Wonder I understand the unexpected expenses. Yesterday I bought a new to me car. DW's little red MG blew the engine and the estimated repair bill was $8500. Having recently spent $2000 on it we decided to pull the pin.
Since we used it pretty much everyday and DW's new job is one town over (38km), I have been riding the push bike to work for about 3 weeks so we needed another one.

I now own an Alfa Romeo 147. Not a planned purchase. DW is in mourning for  her red sportscar and is upset because we looked at an Alfa Spider (convertible) that she really liked but I was worried about a few gearbox noises.
