How wonderful Medusa. It's lovely that you have the space to accomodate it.

Medusa I would love one of those fridges :)
But unfortunately we have only room for a one door fridge, I brought mine a couple of years ago and it's just all fridge and I brought the biggest one that would fit in the space we have (there is only a couple of millimeters left between the top of the fridge and the cupboard above it)
And that cost a good whack on its own.

I'd love one too - I just love the extra width but alas, no room here either.

Medusa we have had one of those for about 5 years and love it.  DW and I wish we had ahd one when the kids were little. Everytime freinds with young children visit all they want to drink is water.

My kids drink quiet a bit of water. I brought a stone water filter thingy that sits on the bench, that way DS 5 can reach it and help him self when ever he wants :)

Well that would be a bonus Dashingden - and they don't have to hang on the fridge door while it's open to decide what they want.

We have had one for about 6 years and absolutely love it. We find we drink a lot more water than we did before having the convience of it always chilled and it's great to never have to think about making ice. One thing we did was take out the filter and replace it with the packing cap. The first filter needed replacing after only 2 months and they are approximately $90 each, Melbourne water is great and doesn't need filtering but our fridge model actually stops water running through if the filter needs replacing or is not in place, after speaking to the distributor they found a packing plug lying around the office and sent it to us to use in place of a filter, has worked perfectly since.

My filters are inline and are only about $40. They replacement indicator is on a 3 month cycle but it does not stop the water coming though when it comes on. I usually reset the light and get another 3 months before changing it.

That's good to know about the filter. It says 6 months for the filter but we shall see. It gets delivered tomorrow but my hubby can't move the old fridge until the weekend. It's exciting lol.

Some of the inline filters can be back washed under the tap. I had one on mine but finally pulled the thing out and just replaced the tubing for about .$4 . Nothing wrong with the water here and $40 buys a few more bottles of a better thing to drink.......wine!

The price of filters can be a real rip off, I have a water filter attached to my tap, the original filters are over $100 each but I can get the same thing at bunnings for around $20. Big difference for the same thing.
Water here is ok but sometimes it's smells and tastes like chlorine yuck.

I bought a new pair of Ariat boots yesterday. My old blunnies must have a hole in them - I didn't know until I did the horses the other night after the beautiful rain we've had. Came into the house with soggy socks...erk

....well, I was thinking about Julie's sticky ribs....and smelling the Mexican shredded beef I have on at the moment....and then I popped over to flybuys and redeemed the 5 in 1

.....I have been thinking about it for a while now, especially for the pressure cooking.....and technically it didn't cost me anything  8)
