Peter is in Kensington, not far from Sydney city. No train there but there are buses running past the door.  I think it is Anzac Hwy.  I used to live in Sydney and would often spend a Saturday wandering the many aisles.  I even took myself there for my 28th Birthday and spoiled myself by purchasing my own birthday gifts.  What a treat to me!!!! After all, if you cannot spoil yourself.....

You always get just what you want when you buy your own birthday presents!

I love Peters of Kensington too and have lost count of the number of their boxes that have arrived for me in the post.  A lot of my Christmas shopping is done at PoK!  They post promptly and they pack anything breakable really well to ensure it arrives safely.

I dragged my partner to the store for an afternoon last year when we were in Sydney for holidays.  It is a beautiful store with so much to explore.  And a couple of months ago when my partner had been away for a week on his own, he arrived off the plane carrying a pink PofK shopping bag with a present for me...I was so excited   (Maybe just as excited to see the pink bag as I was to see him!)

P of K is one place I always pay a visit to when in Sydney, although I use the online shop a lot too.
I've bought all of my Le Crueset from them and ,even with the postage, it is cheaper than I can get it here.
I've ordered that lovely red wok, but have no idea where I am going to store it - the cupboards are overflowing!

I brought one of these
for $12.95 at matchbox.  Half Price.  I don't love red but for the price it had to do.

It is a thermos that can go in the microwave and keeps food hot (or cold) for hours.  It has a dividable bowl inside.

Is it as big as it looks medusa, how many litres does it hold?

Judy, it holds 710mls so it  isn't huge but big enough for a meal.  What I like is that I can put rice on one side and curry etc on the other without it mixing. I should have brought another one for the hubby.

Boring today  a 15,000 km car service, and some prawns.......but I did talk my Mum into spending some of her money....I'm very good at that 
I convinced her to get a gorgeous casual jacket at Myers, and shuttlecock pandora charm (1/2 gold, 1/2 silver).

Have to agree with all comments re P of K only ever bought on line on many occasions.  However both KitchenwareDirect and Everten online are equally as great especially queries and customer service.

I also need to give a big thumbs up to Avancer, on line. I had a problem with a couple of my double walled glasses leaking. I queried it sent photos and before you knew it I had replacements in the mail. Nice to see service like that.

It's my girls 14th Birthday on Fathers Day.....and finally I got an answer on what presents she would like.
My girl is certainly not a typical teenager......her only requests were books and the new sims game 
She has no interest in clothes, jewellery, or anything girly at all!......(the complete opposite of me  )
......I really am lucky though, it makes life sooooo much easier 

Her love of literature is quite unbelievable (and I am such a proud Mama, as she's writing her own novel......which I really hope will interest a publisher  ).
Anyway, I picked up her wish list







She already has read and downloaded them on her kindle, but loved them so much she wanted the paperback versions

and another extension to her favourite game



......will give her some cash too I think......I have no idea what else she would like
