The toaster broke a few days ago so I sent DH out to get a new one today and he has returned with one and a fish tank!

as they do  :D....and what was the explanation for that?

well I blew $150 yesterday on new clothes for me....
Today, we put up our xmas tree, and decided to go buy another little one for the deck....

good on you Robyn!   a Girl needs to indulge 8)....remember to post your tree photos.

so I have decided that I am going to rob a bank and go and do all my Christmas shopping.

brilliant suggestion Cookie  :D  think I'll do the same  :P

Light  day of shopping for me....

haven't seen a white wash board around before....screams quince paste & triple cream Brie to be sitting on top....don't you think?  :)

Some clothes for Master 10 & a bottle of pink bubbles that  is already 1/2 gone as I type :D

Bought a vase of DD2 for Christmas and bought both DDs a M&W serving plate. A thermometer for me for bread making, a nice little sugar bowl that was marked down to $5, some Christmas bauble place name holders.

DD went to book evening at Dymocks one evening last week and bought this for me as a gift. I have been saying that I haven't read any of his books.. Now I am reading one.

Received my Oz Harvest Cookbook today, a book which has gone on sale to help raise funds to support those in need within local communities.  Some of Australia's best known chefs share their favourite 'food rescue' recipes.   Details of how to buy this book are here.   It has over 300 pages but I haven't had time to read it yet.

Karen did yours come today as well?

Also had window shutters installed down the dead side of the house to stop the morning sun heating up the house too early.

It's going to take me a while to get through the book Kim but I'll let you know when I do.  Maybe tonight I'll get a chance and then Katie can borrow it when she pops in during the week and see what she thinks.

I think I was told at purchase that the cost of the book would feed 60 people so how could I not want to buy the book.

Don't get the ? purple cleanser/scrub. My last cleaner used it to clean the shower and 6 months later I was still trying to get the purple out of the grout.
