We have always had leather lounges and have been told by several leather so called experts to never use any product on your lounge just warm water and if necessary a tiny bit of detergent but only if necessary???

Went shopping with DD who is on two days holiday.
One pair of tidy non farming trews for DH, with £10 voucher and in the sale anyway so £25.00 and a packet of cellothane bags for Xmas baking and fudge.

Well I have dirty stinky boys and white (well grey/cream now) leather lounges so I need serious cleaning products on a regular basis in this house !

But the best thing I have found for cleaning the lounges is baby wipes - they outdo leather cleaner, miracle spray, microfiber cloths etc - believe me I have tried them all!

Yep - baby wipes...after all they are made for skin, and leather is a skin. Otherwise I just use my enjo fabric cloth and water, both work a charm.  :D

Thanks for the tip about the baby wipes. I have a white leather lounge and a cream coloured as well. I don't have children at home but the cream lounge seems to get dirty quickly.

I bought quite a few clothes for myself on Sunday, wasn't expecting to but everything just happened to fit so I needed to buy them!

We've used enjo for years and our cleaner is happy with all the products with the exception of not using a toilet cleaner so we give her ajax for that. We have a white leather lounge which is looking quite gruby at the moment will have to try the baby wipes.

i bought Pete Evan's Pizza cookbook today - part of a christmas present for my eldest nephew.

I also went into Herbies Spice Store at Rozelle for the first time.  Wow, that place is spice heaven.  I could spend a fortune in there.  I was very restrained and only bought some wattle seeds and some strawberry gum.  The strawberry gum is nice added to raspberry sorbet as per Andrew Fielke's 60 second Raspberry Sorbet recipe.

Received my Oz Harvest Cookbook today, a book which has gone on sale to help raise funds to support those in need within local communities.  Some of Australia's best known chefs share their favourite 'food rescue' recipes.   Details of how to buy this book are here.   It has over 300 pages but I haven't had time to read it yet.

This is a great book and I have 70 recipes earmarked.  Considering the recipes are provided by well know chefs, there are many surprisingly easy but tasty looking recipes using products we have in our pantry but there are also a few restaurant quality meals.  Well worth the money spent - I love it.  There are heaps of photos but not one for each recipe.

Just a quick selection of recipes on my list

Silverbeet, raisin & pinenut tart (a dessert)
Curry turnovers using leftover curry
Salt & Pepper belly pork
Malaysian fried bananas with coconut ice-cream
Gypsy chickpea hotpot with pears
Churros con chocolate
Beetroot Halwa
Beetroot curry
Mushroom arancini
Persian chicken pilau pie
Linguine with prawns & herb oil
Apricot, almond & rosemary clafoutis
Lamb & Olive ladies fingers with beetroot tzatziki
Corned beef hash
Real shepherd's pie
Roast duck noodles
Eggplant & sweet potato curry
Peach & blueberry pudding
Toad in the hole with red onion confit
Glazed pork hocks
Chicken & rice sausage with carrot & almond slaw
Tuna & herb rice

to name a few
