Maybe one of our Melbourne members might know of some local haunts.  Otherwise there is a manufacturer called plasdene that you can order from online but as they are a wholesaler there is a minimum order.

Personally I save jars from supermarket food, sterilize and reuse and I also have some jars that I bought at kitchenware shops.  Just a tip on the jars, you want the inside of the lid to have a plastic type coating, if it is just metal than definitely don't use it for anything that contains vinegar (ie chutney's) or they will rust and spoil all your food.

You will also want a jar funnel and possibly some tongs.  You can normally buy a starter kit with these included.

My Silicone Calippo thingies arrived today. Don't ask me why but I smelled one and it smells horrible! There's no way I'm putting food into it smelling like that. They are all currently in the dishwasher & I'm hoping that'll fix them & it was just the smell of the plastic bag they were in...anyone else have the same problem? Anyone have any ideas?
Mine had a slight smell but not horrible.
I put them all through the dishwasher before I used them and there was no noticeable smell after they dried.
I have filled them all with chocolate Gelati and they are all re-appearing in the dishwasher.  Che has not mentioned anything about taste or smell and he is extremely sensitive to both.
I am now refilling with raspberry juice cordial..

My calippo tubes smelled awful too, but after a couple of washes it seems to have gone completely. Loving them - seems like a real treat to the kids, but it was just orange and lemon sorbet!! And they only get quite a small amount too. One batch of sorbet (edc recipe) filled 15 tubes. Down to 2 in the freezer though, so time to make something else...

You buy such lovely things Maddy. I'm going to have to do as others and visit this topic when you have posted, though I need to de-clutter not buy more things.

Also just checked their website but no travel bags on there...BUT look what I found

haven't checked how to post a pic in here yet, but to save you all clicking the link, it's a pretty pink TM apron.
Sorry if this has already been posted, but I know I did read talk of aprons on here recently

A pink bag would be lovely, but mine gets used so much it would end up as a dirty pink bag in no time. It travels next to all sorts of 'stuff' like fishing gear and outboard motor parts etc.

The pink aprons I think are only around in Feb (though I could be wrong).

The pink bag is the incentive for the customers who buy a thermomix in February or for those who already have a TM and hold a demo they can buy it for $40 but if someone from your demo purchases it you get it for free.

must have been after I talked to the marketing girl from HO, and said where are the pink and red aprons.

They must update the website more often..

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Cookie, How did you know?
We had them with Friday night drinkies and they all disappeared. Next time, I need to use a different variety of potatoes that have a lower water content.
