It looks so impressive JulieO.  I think it would be fantastic for a vanilla and strawberry cake

Speaking of thongs, and our havaianas discussion.....look what I had seen onEtsy.com

Wedding thongs! LOL...all blinged out with crystals for your wedding day at the beach  :P
A thong is not  just a thong these days.

Was at a friends BBQ last night, and she gave me some hand cream to try....the fragrance was just heavenly! (Persian fairy floss)
So I ordered some online, along with a candle in the same fragrance

They are gorgeous, looked them up and found a red pair with a heart on them $186.00  :o

Unfortunately not Courton. Might buy a pair of red thongs and glue a sparkly red heart on them though.  :D

Love the wedding thongs. Better than walking down the aisle in heels and more comfortable when you are on your feet all day.

All you thong lovers try fit flops. Seriously comfortable.

I have 2 pairs Medusa. Love them. One pair is nearly a house pair. I cheated and bought both pairs in Singapore. A little cheaper but not much.

I quite like the sparkly thongs idea for a beach wedding - high heels and sand must be a nightmare!
My wedding shoes weren't really that much more elborate actually.  It wasn't a beach wedding or anything, but I decided high heels were too uncomfortable for such a busy day, and weren't going to make me look tall next to DH anyway.  He's 6ft6 and I'm 5ft4!

My purchase for today is a "hair donut" - looks like a donut that you use to make a nice full-looking hair bun.  I'm off to a "vintage" dress up party in a couple of weeks, and thought a nice big bun might work with what I have in mind.  ;D  Big spend up that was - it was all of $3.  Oh, and some bobby pins to tuck all the hair ends in (do you call them bobby pins overseas???)

I watch out for when they are on special and buy them. I have a house pair too. The only problem is they are so comfortable I can barely wear other shoes/thongs now because nothing else seems as comfortable and shock absorbing. My dodgy knees are so much better wearing fit flops.
