jeninwa, can its peel potatoes  ???

If you remove the cutting blade at the front (the one that slices and cores), you can peel most of the potato, I just had to give it a try to find out. I have peeled pears ok with it. Next to try is an orange.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

I've got a rotary pastry docker.  Good for pie dough, flatbreads, etc., where you don't want bubble blowouts.  I use it to "tame" puff pastry to keep the puffing even.

Here's mine

It's one of my gadgets that some people think should be in a torture chamber - along with the marmalade cutter! ;D

I bought one of these during the week, have been buying large boxes of fruit for $10.00, borrowed my friends dehydrator, (thinking of buying one)

This is an essential tool for making apple pies or crumbles.  It is so much quicker!!

You can use your apple peeler to peel potatoes girls.  Just make sure the cutting disk is not in place and it will just peel it as per this photo - I missed the first bit of the potato but it did the other end OK. It peels them a darn sight thinner than I do with a knife  :-))  Here's a picture too of thicker peels that Maddy sprayed and cooked in the oven - the main reason I bought my apple peeler.

Yes, loosen the wing nut on top of the peeler bit and the cutter will move in or out.
