......as for the stands.....the ones I bought from etsy.com   are easy to use and clean.  I thought they were reasonably priced, as they get used regularly.

Ooohh I haven't seen these molds before!  I've always just done it the Bakerella way but the molds look much easier (and less messy).

As for stands I just use a foam florist block, wrap it in co-ordinating tissue paper for whatever event I'm running and just stick the sticks into it.  I've been using the same foam block for about 18 months now so it's been great value.

Wow Snappy what a great idea. I have some scooby doo wrapping paper left over I can use that. Scooby party.

Buying moulds tomrrow.

I just used some polystyrene packing that we cut into large squares and I decorate with coordinating ribbon. I haven't made any lately but the blocks are still in the cupboard ready to go. A very cheap alternative.

Well i bought 2 florist blocks havent bought the moulds yet, my concern is transporting them, plus 100 other things without them being damaged.

I find the transporting the hardest part. If I don't have a spare pair of hands in the car I place them in a box which fits on the floor behind the front seats in the car, this way they are contained within a box and are less likely to move around when the car moves.

The other issue i have its going to be 32 degrees at this stage, so everythung needs to be packed in eskys, so they woukd have to lie in their side in tupperware & the chocolate  might get cracked off.

DH and I did the kids chrissy shopping last night...our usual we all go together..;the kids scan the isles and let us know what they would like if they are really really good then DH disappears while i go grocery shopping with them, gets their presents they 'selected' and puts them in the boot of the car (thank goodness its a big boot) all un beknown to them

bought a 2m real christmas tree to be delivered in around 10 days, some new deco for the tree too and the kids dont stop asking me how many days until christmas every 5 mins...its going to be a long few weeks!

fundj - is the shellacking on furniture or your nails? If nails I got both my fingers and toes done at the moment and love it - hate when it's time for it to come off though.

Yes it does last for 2 weeks have had it done many times. You have to be careful which brand you get done cause they can wreck your nails

Hally and Chelsea both my brothers have Golf cars. One is a diesel one, they both love them. I guess while we tow the caravan round and launch the boat we'll have 4 wheel drives.

I've packed my shopping away from Melbourne. Another book on icecream, 2 pairs of shoes, 1 blouse, lots of gifts from Body Shop in Bridge Road, some kitchen shears (scanpan) from a DFO kitchen shop for DH to cut the wings off the fish, goodies from the Lindt cafe, goodies from Haigh's choclates and a couple of books from Dymocks. Oh and a Dan Lepard bread book from Readings in Carlton. I think that's all.
