Wish we had aussie or us petrol prices... And like everywhere they kep going up and up plus france has ridiculous tolls (anyone who has driven on french motorways would know that) ... I often imagine the look on aussie travellers faces when they get to a toll and the persons tells them that will be 38 euros thankyou..Sorry 3.80??? Non thirty eight euros Lol

I remembrr when sydney sids used to freak at the 2 dollar toll charge in and out of the city then boycotted the new west ring road was it because of toll chargges but it was only 5 dollars or something.. Tteehee it can be much worse!

The first time friends or family come over they always get shocked at the cost of tolls and have rarely worked it into their budget!... THe further south you go the more expensive it seems.. An eg  when wr lved up north and also an hour and a half from paris the toll was 8 euros and for roughly the same distance but south of paris it was around 20 and now its 25 and rising.. You go further south again and thats where you get the 40 euro plus tolls which they cheekily break up into two or more tolls !!  Dont get me started on taxes lol

Gee might be cheaper to go back to horse and cart ;D ;D

Not at the current price of hay, at least around here, plus oats, which have increased considerably since people began eating more to lower cholesterol. :D

Of course with the horse you also get an excellent for gardens by-product but then have to hire someone to shovel it! ;D

You must be lucky Gert  :P
I have now had a frypan and casserole pot, both have food sticking to the base!  >:(  drives me insane!
I only use medium to low heat, never use sprays or olive oil in them, and wash by hand.
I know there was a faulty batch produced, and they were replacing many of them....but I bought mine long after that period.

I do love swiss diamond.....and I only buy them when on a huge special.....they're so expensive!
.........EAT CAKE!

I guess I have been lucky as most of my Scan pans are over 12 years old. They do not look so pretty but they still don't stick or pucker but if I went to kiss one it might.  ;D ;D

Still, it is always nice to have a new pot.

I have been thinking about getting some more spatulas as well, it's the only one I use now. All the others are going, I have one at home and one on the yacht. Need a few spares, the little brushes are great, use it for all kinds of cleaning jobs.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
