I recently cleared out my pots'n'pans drawers, cupboards etc and shipped it all off to the local op shop.
Anything that had started to stick or hadn't been used recently went.
I just kept my cast iron Tagine for most cooking.  One big pot for cooking the dogs food and a small cast aluminium pan for general veg etc.  Plus several cast pots that get used during winter on the wood fire.
TC does most stuff now..

It was sooo nice to clear out all of the clutter.
DH would like to do the same with my Cake pan drawer,  But no way.   :o

Oh ladies...if I'd known I would've come and taken a few off your hands so my baby daughter could use them to bang on  ;D

I was having a look in my cupboards to see what spare items I had for her to play with but unfortunately I need everything and the things I don't are too dangerous for her.

Decluttering is great though isn't it?? I'm slowly trying to declutter the whole house - the study will take the longest I think.

I am too scared to give away too many of my pots and pans in case I have to live without my TMX for a couple of weeks.  I have given one of my large stock pots away but thank goodness I did keep the other one as I would have had nothing in which to cook the crabs that were given to us last week.  If I get the chance to teach DH's grand-daughters how to cook, it would have to be using pots and pans and not the TMX as there is never any likelihood they will be getting a TMX. Maybe they will end up with all my pots and pans, who knows what's down the track.

Well, in the good news front re pans, I sent my scan pan to the distributor since it was starting to pucker. Today I received a replacement pan without fuss. Great service.

I bought another 2 Tshirts/tops to take away this morning. I really didn't need them but one pair of coloured jeans I bought last week didn't really go with any of my tops. These were on special as most of the summer wear is.

Those are the type of reasons I use when I want to justify clothing purchases - to myself! :) :) :)

Aw shucks do we need ever to justify shopping ;D ;D ;D

Just do it I say. Ok sometimes you have to hide it. My husband hides stuff. I found a pair of white shorts the other day in his closet. Don,'t know how  long they have been there but  I think he is not game to wear them.

I bought 4 tops for myself, some sheets for my son, then was walking past homeart and they had pizza makers for $39.99 so I HAD to have it! Hehe. Pizza for dinner me thinks.

Shopping is what makes the world go round.

DH comes home from Bunnings with sandpaper to rub down the new, old car he is getting ready for painting and because it is so fine it's reasonably expensive. I don't need to justify my Tshirts/tops. In fact when I showed him he asked if I could throw some out as he needs soft rags for..............the car of course. Gotta love him.

while l was in margaret river  at the bookshop there getting a book l had ordered for my son
my husband turned around and said ''hey honey  thats the book you were talking about''
there on the top shelf was the book called for ' food sake  by tenina '
l could not believe my eyes .  so it got added to my order  and l thought l just saved  the price of postage   and the shop owner and l had a lovely thermomix talk  as she owned one too . l told her about this great  forum  and how popular the book is she said she has sold lots of  the books
the  book  looks like such a beauiful book  and the photos look very delious  l cant wait to get the kids to bed so l can read it .

I'm off to buy at least one new business shirt tomorrow and some new ties.  I bought a shirt the other week only to find that none of my ties really do it justice.  I knew of a menswear store in West Perth that is closing down.  I hope to get a bargain. Plus it is across the road from my favorite running store.  I don't really need anything from there but I will have a look anyway.
