Well I bought a benriner vertical spiral slicer thingy - for making veggie noodles, a new apple spiral peeler cutter corer as the suction cup has gone on ours  >:(  and a silicone spatula from peters of Kensington.  ;D
Meagan have you used the spiral slicer yet? I would love to get one. The slicer from kitchenware direct didn't have very good reveiws.

Not yet  :) ;) I only ordered online yesterday :) can't wait! I have been using a julienne peeler to make zuchinni pasta. Check out some of the YouTube video reviews. I have been wanting to get one for ages. I'll let you know how it goes.

This is me being green re your benriner slicer. Not so much for the apple corer  and nil green for your spatula as it cannot be anyway near as good as Helene's.LOL!

Just checked out the Benriner slicer, it's looks pretty nifty  :)
I don't need it though (must keep telling myself that!), I don't need it  :D

I ordered a Chicago Metallic Baguette Pan from Fishpond a few days ago and am eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

Apparently Kmart has pasta rollers for $15. But I don't need one ;D
I may or may not be popping into Kmart tomorrow just to look, I won't buy it ;)

No I don't have the slicer. I do use a peeler thingy that can do julianne Ns also my mandolin will do thin strips but the benriner is desirable.

I wonder if she uses it much?  It is a want rather than a need.  I need another case of Sav Blanc and I want it.......

I have a spirooli slicer which was about $45. I love it for making zucchini noodles instead of eating spaghetti or pasta, as this seems to stop me from losing weight. It also does slices, good for my zucchini slice. There are you tube videos on how to use it.

Not that I need any more recipe books, but this one some how leapt into my hands as I was not looking at recipe books in the $5 book shop at Joondalup yesterday.  :o
I try very very hard to not go near that book shop, but my feet just take me there and then books just seem to gravitate my way. Sigh...what is a girl to do when this happens  ???
I did think of joining "recipe books anonymous", but darn it...I just can't seem to find their phone number!!!
