Maddy where did you get those pastry cutters and what brand are they.. The lattice type one is gorgeous.. I want i want lol

They were from Kitchenware direct.

But there are lots of different ones from Amazon, which is probably easier for you to order.

Thank, Maddy - the pie cutters are beautiful.  I like using Amazon because of the reviews . . .and they're cheaper as long as the Aust dollar remains high . . . .

I'm sure you'll have no trouble filling the new one Hally.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I bought our second freezer because of the TMX really and all the extra preserves and stocks I was making.  We have an upright freezer a fridge and a wine cooler in the house and the chest freezer and another fridge in the garage.  I think the chest freezer stocks more food than the upright with the shelves but the upright is easier to find things.  I tend to use the upright for my sauces, stocks, pureed veg, chutneys, nuts, spices, frozen ice and coconut milk and fruits (for sorbets) - sort of like a frozen pantry and the chest for all other frozens. I think if you are filling them Hally then you definitely need them :) There is only the two of us.

I only have the small freezer in my fridge. I would love another freezer but I have nowhere to put it. I have thought of all possibilities, but nothing works. I was hoping to put one on my little balcony, but there's no power out there.

There are 4 of us and we just have the one freezer on our side by side fridge/freezer. Sometimes I need a little extra space but I can't imagine needing more than two. I'm really not a big one for eating frozen meals and never seem to enjoy them as much as freshly made. I also like buying my meat depending on what we feel like to eat rather than having a heap already in the freezer. Good on you though H for being so organised.
