You can buy cake pop books from bookdepository but the queen of cake pops is bakerella and she has heaps of info freely available on her website so check here first http://http://www.bakerella.com/

I know peters of Kensington sells candy melts, sticks, icing colors etc in store so they might also sell online?

Robyn....I purchase the majority of it from eBay.  You can buy bulk packs of sticks much cheaper! Like these ones
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cake-Pop-Sticks-15cm-6-100-pcs-Shy-Shys-Partyware-/230841722540?pt=AU_Party_Supplies&hash=item35bf3d26ac#ht_7150wt_922
Get paper ones, not plastic.  I usually buy 6 inch sticks.

As for the chocolate, I usually use Nestlé melts and add the Americolor oil colours.  Check eBay and online deco stores.  You usually pay a lot more for coloured chocolate, so tint your own.  Just remember the white chocolate doesn't need as much melting time.
if you were wanting deep colours, probably worth buying those per coloured.  I don't like Wilton choc at all, but I have a pack of merckens chocolate to try next.

books....there's lots....I'm smack in the middle of organizing my cook books, so I will get back to you on the good ones  ;)
BTW, I have per ordered Bakerellas Christmas pop book  8)

berri......that maker I have used for doughnut holes too.  To be honest, I don't know how good it would be for cake pops, as you really need the binding of icing or cream cheese to keep it stable on the sticks.  it would be perfect for dipped cake balls for a plate.

LOL....you know what, I had a look while having a break from cleaning and sorting all my cook books   :o and a hidden nook of purchases that need to be housed  :o :o.....and I said to myself....do I really need to be ordering anything from there!  ;D
I did linger on the personalised stamper for baked goodies....but then I clicked the page off  :P
