Thanks Maddie, I'll have a look. The choice for stove top is very limited. I would love a Le Creuset one but don't think they bring them into Australia

Oops, sorry wonder....I think they were electric ones.

Maddy I wasn't sure about the liners due to cost. Do you reuse them or throw away after use?

They are reusable....I used only a small piece to cut and fit the 2 plates of press, but the rest of the roll I use for the oven or bread tins.
I'm sure you could use another product though, that is less expensive....I think Aldi at some point had the similar sorts of liners.

forgot to post what I had bought  :P

alien costume for DS school concert...the one he really wanted would have given the preppies nightmares!

I love all things Bento!! So cute....Miss 15 would especially like these things in her lunch box  :P
....and picked up the egg & sushi moulds too.....I'm sure hubby will love a cute rabbit shaped egg on his salad  ;)

And I picked up these old plastic Santa lolly jars at the op shop for 50 cents.

I'm going to drill holes in the lid, fill with salt, and use for Cake pops.
DD thinks they're creepy, but she'll get over it  ;)
.........EAT CAKE!

maddie I was going to buy the egg molds but then figured we never eat boiled eggs in this house so while cute they would be of little use.

Andie, I've got pieces of both Le Creuset and Le Chasseur and find them both great but haven't found anywhere to purchase the stove top kettle. I'll have another look though because the last time was few years ago.

Miss6 takes moulded hard boiled eggs to school in her lunchbox - she won't eat 'normal' ones but eats shaped ones no problem.  :-\ . They do look cute tho!  :)

Obbie I saw them on ebay.

Well had a quick look over at POK and there's lots more stove stove kettles available now.

I like this one

but my wallet will like this one

or maybe this

Meagan,, suggest you try an Indian spice shop. They call it poori press . You will find it is identical but much cheaper than a tortilla press.

Thanks I will do :)

where do you buy the molds from..

Yep, from eBay Robyn.

well, Hubby sent me out on a mission today to buy him a box of 24 Drumsticks for $ 17.99...on special

....silly boy....as if I was only going to buy the drumsticks!

From my favourite shop down here, I picked up the large bowl from Pip studios, which I will use for the centrepiece base at Christmas (watch  out for the Christmas tree thread later  ;))

And added the matching plate

And 2 birds that I'll use to top the Yule log I will bake at Xmas

How can you resist that cover?

And a couple of bottles of bubbles from the winery down the road

......how can you resist when it's called "Party in the shed"  :P

.........EAT CAKE!
