I bought an Appletv and thanks to our teenage neighbour it's up and running. I had done most of the setting up, but hit a glitch and he ended up asking Siri for help  :D am in the middle of making him a carrot cake as that is all he wanted for payment. Hope he never leaves home otherwise I'm going to have to stop buying gadgets.

Haha thats pretty good cp.. All he wanted is a carrot cake 😄 much cheaper too than getting a specialist out with call out costs etc... Better bake him whatever he wants 😄😄😄😄

I love my AppleTV - Here I can get instant view movies from 18 different vendors as well as Netflix - for which I pay 8.99 a month.  A real bargain.

DH put up some pod chairs that were delivered on Friday. I purchased these with money from the estate of my brother that passed away in July. Even though he led a very different life to me and we weren't close I'm really glad I used the money for these and a few other outside chairs which we'lll get a lot of use out of.

You were born to stand out, don't waste your life trying to fit in.

I love those chairs, I can see myself sitting I one of them.  Now all I need is the pool as the backdrop ;)

Thanks everyone, we have just been out enjoying a late afternoon wine in the chairs and I'm so happy I decided to go ahead and purchase them, we love our backyard and it was lovely Swinging in the chairs watching DS playing basketball. We've spent so much money recently the money from my brother had sort of been spent along the way, but I decided on Thursday to go ahead with the purchase as planned. I'm sure Mum and Dad will be pleased to see how we spent the money as well - something to always remember him by.

Chrissa I'm so to hear about your loss, it's hard regardless of how close and terrible to see your parents going through such pain. - as they say a parent should never have to bury a child.

Maddy,  I've seen that couscous at the shops and wondered what it was like.

Mums giving me for foods sake for Xmas. So we can be strong and patient together (just don't read the recipe reviews, they are too tempting)!!
