I was doing the annual áfter christmas clean up aka "where do I put all this new stuff???" and had heaps of the Peters of Kensington packaging (a massive box...it only just fit through the front door) so I googled it and of course it is in their FAQ. I tipped all the pellets (they are wheat) into the bath tub (they only just all fit) and turned the tap on. The pellets melted and went down the drain.  Now I just need to take the box to the recycling depot and I'm done

I know! By the time I'd thought of taking a photo the water had already melted done of them.....my 2 year old was dying to jump in the bath too!

These are the packing pellets used by PoK???  I thought they were polystyrene?!?!

Jamberie - thanks!  I couldn't get the link to work before but it does now.  wow!! that is really good to know!  I'll certainly be passing that info onto the rest of my family . . ( don't know about eating them though )

I know! I've thrown away bags and bags of pellets which take up considerable space in my bin! This time, there wouldn've been no room for regular rubbish with the amount of pellets I had, so I needed to look it up -I love Google!
-At least you know that if kiddies eat them they are ok....I haven't eaten any in 10 years, although edible, I'm not sure Ithey'd have passed food regulartions!

Out shopping with DD this morning and I came across this book in the ABC shop. It looked good and was only $10 so I couldn't resist it.

It's called 'what for Dinner' by Michele Curtis. It has what appear to be simple recipes for main meals.
