That's what I paid half price. Have made anything out of it astarra?

Yep, the cheese and bacon potatoes - pg16 are nice (I used chives instead of sage tho)
Sausage rolls - pg 19  were ok, girls loved them but DH & I thought they were a bit plain.

And there are a few others we want to try before school goes back.  :)
:D

Thanks astarra. I liked the look of the three ingredient slice pg 41. Very easy and nut free for school.
I do mind children occasionally - two of the young lasses from work let me play with their girls when they are stuck for sitters. They all seem to love cooking too.

I need grandchildren.

Sigh - my daughter has been married for 3 1/2 years now. They bought a home before they were married. I don't know what they are waiting for? My daughter is a bit career orientated. They are both still very young only 25yrs and enjoying where they are - so maybe soon. Hopefully DH's daughter that got married in May might come good - I know they want to start a family soon as she has turned 30 and doesn't want to leave it too long.

I couldn't resist buying some of these silicone push pop tubes for icecreams.  I ordered them direct from China

Now just waiting for them to arrive..

And who wouldn't love one of these in their kitchen?  I notice it on FaceBook and drooled.  LOL

Rosieb where did you get those 'calipo" tubes?? They would be great for sorbet!

If you go to the ebay link, Hally , it kind of explains it.  As obbie suggested you could fill them with ice cream - or sorbet or juice to make iceblocks, etc etc.  The "consumer" then just removes the cap and pushes the contents up the tube . . . hope that makes sense . . :D

They will be a popular item for those with kids, had a look but resisted for the time being.

Love the storage unit RosieB, I like being able to see what you have in the pantry in a glance and not have everything hidden behind something else as in my pantry.  Mind you, I'd probably need 3 of them for all my supplies :-))
