I bought more wool yesterday for joining my 78 squares of the baby blanket I've knitted. Will post pic when done.

Oh dear ... you buy a new house and suddenly you need new things lol

Yesterday was a busy day, new couch, new printer, new trainers for me, heaps of potting mix so I can start potting up some plants. I'm sure I will find lots of other things that I suddenly need now  :D

Things have been hectic here (does it ever change?!?!) and we have bought a house too ;D ;D! ;D  ;D ;D ;D

Though unlike Mab, ours is much larger, with a much larger yard and a pool. Sad thing is we don't know when we will be moving as it has tenants in at at the moment that are looking for a new place ... will just start packing and hope it is well before their lease expires at the end of July  :-)) :-))

Hopefully things will settle down now we have finished house hunting and I get more than a fleeting glance at my beloved forum  :) :)

Congratulations on your new house faffa.  Sorry I am a bit late with this, I have had my head in boxes until I am tired of the sight of them.

We are leasing our place for two months as of this Thursday as settlement is not until May.  This way we can start moving a lot of the garage and workshop items across.

Still haven't made up my mind about which stove to buy yet.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Congratulations Kathryn, the house sounds lovely and the kitchen looks great.

GF I really like that guy, have just recently started watching him and he has some great recipes and insights into the places he visits.

Today my iphone charger converters arrived. iPhone 5 has a different charger and we have  a surplus of the older style chargers for ipads ipods iphones etc in our house The adapter fits over the end to convert the older cables to charge the newer phone. I believe the ipad mini also has the smaller charging pins.  cost me $5 including postage, a lot cheaper than buying a second iPhone charger.

I was out with DD today, and we came across this doughnut machine on clearance - clearly old stock as the sticker on the box was for a competition that closed in late 2011.

so we had to come home and test it.  Just plain doughnuts from the instruction booklet

Wowee. They are baked too which is wonderful.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
