If I had not been in the T2 shop I would have been home to sign for my new handbags.Bummer. Now I have to wait until tomorrow.

New tea, new magnets. For the tea caddys.

Can anyone recommend tea towels.  I have had a few shocking ones lately that I have brought that are not absorbent at all.  My mum said to boil them which I did and as far as I can tell made no change.

Thank you

Medusa,  enjo bamboo. Terry cloth  micro-fibre.  I do not use any others and am just going to display CC's lovely Cornish Pastry one. I would never want to actually use it other than to display the recipe. Looks great in my Kitchen being black and white..

Te enjo ones cannot go in the dryer so I use them sparingly in the wet season.  The Terry cloth. Get grubby after a while but the micro fibre sold in big packs in Bunnings. And Office Works are cheap as chops so I use them   Wash them And when they get grubby they go to the garage for car washing I think.  Once it hits the garage I have nothing to do with it. That part of the house remains a mystery to me.

Have been having fun making pizzas with my Pizza Oven.  Obviously HAD to buy Pete Evans Pizza book to go with it!  Thanks girls for pointing out how wonderful this appliance is.

Great news Kezza...I think it would be the 2nd most used appliance I have.  I would replace it tomorrow if it died on me.
I too have the Pete Evans book....still haven't really looked at yet  :-[

Was intrigued by your comment, Maddy.

What brand of pizza oven are you ladies using? Google produced New Wave and The Pizza Oven brands. If it really takes 5 mins to heat up and 5 mins to cook, it's probably cheaper to run than a normal oven.

Very jealous of your T2 collection Gert!

T-towels. I'd recommend Lorraine Lea Linen ones and Norwex. Both fantastic. Absorbent and dry quickly when hung up. Norwex have the added value of being anti bacterial.

That is  interesting Bedlam because my three I bought fromThermomix  all shrink to postage stamp size too.  I was pi##ed off as they dried so well. I will treat my new one with care when it arrives. It is on it's way from JD.

I hate linen tea towels  because I think they should be ironed!  I probably use the smaller microfibre most and I could use two or three a day as needs be.  I hate things hanging around drying .

Oh sorry, you've misunderstood. The company is Lorraine Lea Linen, the tea towel is like a microfibre feel not linen.

I must say that the Enjo t-towel Bedlam is the best one that I've ever used. I've found that a lot of t-towels are just not absorbent. I bought a couple of beautiful tt from Harrods recently as a souvenir and specifically said to DH not to use them in the woodfire oven on the weekend. First time they've made their debut and whaddayaknow he took them off the counter and used them! Black charcoal everywhere!!! Boy was I mad.

How spooky - I just received an email from the enjo consultant about a special 2 x tt, hand wash and something else. Maybe she was stalking on the forum  :o
