Pretty bracelet Robyn. Would you believe I bought the exact same one last week on behalf of the kinder for a teacher that is leaving. It's simple but stunning. That's a good brother you have.

Did you get any attachments or are you going to be using it mainly for baking?

Wonder, when I visited my friends years ago in the NT some eggs flew under the radar and were fertilised - if left out of the fridge they had chicks stumbling around the counter tops. Probably not such a problem in Melbourne.  :)

what a surprise that would be! LOL
I used to keep my eggs in the fridge, but DD insisted not to (obviously something come up abut it at school), and also there was discussion on this forum about it.
that's a nifty egg holder Wonder  ;)
I'm happy with the  scales I bought for that purpose

Robyn....lucky girl  8) That swarovski shop just mesmerises me every time I go past!

Hubby had to get machinery parts in Colac & dropped me off to a favourite haunt....it didn't dissapoint.
I picked up a few Robert Gordon tea cup/saucer sets that I will turn into candle cups (for friends for Xmas), and I treated myself to the matching side plates & teapot

Also picked up a few more pieces of laguiole cutlery in my favourite retro green (they don't sell this colour in sets)....so I'm slowly getting a full set, piece by piece....which the sales girl forgot to put another dessert spoon in, so back I go next week

I really dislike garden ornaments, so this purchase shocks myself!.....this store sells garden ornaments also,  & hubby has commented several times that he loves this fox, every time he drives past...it was expensive, so he never bought it.

Well, I decided to buy it for him for Xmas  :-X  he never asks for anything, so making the comments he has...I knew he really would love it...he doesn't know though, so I have to sneak back and pick it up....what a shame it's at the store whose contents I adore :P

How I'd love to go shopping with you maddy, not to buy myself but to just watch you go about your business. What a lovely surprise for DH, where would he put it?  My DH was the same, never asked for anything so whenever he said he liked anything I would do the same as you and buy it for him.  It happened so very rarely though.

Superb effort again Maddy  ;) I'd be putting Foxy Loxy outside as well I think.
I think the conversation about eggs was pasteurisation and to keep them in the fridge because of salmonella. Mine have migrated to the cooler climate, even tho it was handy to have them at room temperature.

Maddy fantastic shopping. That cutlery is so pretty. Your known haunts must love it when you come through the doors  ;D

With the eggs when my DD got a severe case of salmonella years ago from free range eggs, the experts at the time told us to never wash eggs and to leave them at room temp so I've always just followed that advice - it could be wrong these days though given how advice always seems to be changing.

Judy I would love to go shopping with you and Maddy too. We could have a ball just watching her. We could also act as spotters.
