Took Miss. 16 to T2, as she loves tea & Gert had given her approval....came out of there poorer for the experience!
You have to hand it to them....the design of their their store, displays, vibe & tasting bar is a very clever concept.   it would have been the busiest store in town (with many teenagers)
I am a coffee addict, but I found I wanted to sample their teas  
So, we walked out with


And we were given lots of samples to see what Miss. 16 likes

I spent 6 hours in town, whilst DD was at movies & lunch with friends....so I finally put a big dent in my Christmas shopping.
Only have DS to buy for, but that's all done in 1 sports store thankfully.

unfortunately the T2 store is positioned opposite the Peter Alexander store....which DD & I both adore, so there was some spending carnage there....until a creepy older man kept following us around & asking me questions   probably a good thing for my credit card

Still have a little first flush left of Darjeeling, the one Gert costed out to be more than french champagne.

We are officially up to 46 different teas...my husband is now on a tea ban because every time he walks into T2 he walks out with a new tea....at least we do drink them all.

I bought my christmas present from Spotlight today...a Brother ScanNCut to use for quilting/applique.  They were on sale and then the lovely cashier gave me a card that was another 15% off so I was a happy little vegemite.

I called into Aldi on the way home to grab a couple of groceries and there is a very interesting item that will be on sale from next wednesday...yet more competition for the Thermomix.

I might have to buy one of those jugs, DD went on a T2 craze last tear but it was over as fast as it started!

Astarra I swear by amber teething necklaces. Both of my kids has them. You buy short enough so they aren't dangling off the child and take them off at sleep/bath time. You need Baltic amber. It seriously worked magic. There is other natural teething gel you can buy too which I've never used before. It's new on the market but is getting rave reviews. I'm all for natural health assistant where possible. I also used to buy on occasion homeopathic teething tablets from the pharmacy. Good luck! Upset bubs are hard work. Poor thing.

Thanx, INAID, it is a genuine Baltic amber one I have. The other girls want to wear it now..... (as a fashion accessory)

For all you tea lovers out there, we have a wonderful specialist tea shop along the road from our shop called Storm in a Teacup.  I rarely go there because I don't drink tea (I do go there to buy their delicious cakes, though), but Hannah, the owner, is amazingly knowledgeable.  This is their web site.  Unfortunately, they don't have an on-line shop, but I am sure if you are interested and give them a ring Hannah will be delighted to help you.  It was Halley's reference to the first flush Darjeeling that bought the shop to my mind.

I'm a tea nut also.  I have far more than I "need" but sometimes can't resist when something new appears, especially the Republic of Tea site.

My tea cupboard from a couple of years ago - there are more now.

A couple of decades back a friend in Mt. Dandenong used to send me Ty-Nee tips tea,  I think that was the name, a loose tea which I really liked - she had some with here when she lived here for a year and left me her supply when she returned to OZ.
  It's been a long time, I may have the name wrong.

Jamberie in Cairns Central the tea2 shop is opposite peter alexander as well. Interesting.


Pity it was recently sold off to Unilever and English Dutch company.
